December 3...Savannah, GA
Day one of our adventure began with our roadtrip to Fort Lauderdale. We decided to drive down to Ft. Lauderdale, so we took two days to drive down there, stopping for the night in Savannah, GA. We got in mid-afternoon and after resting we headed out into the historic district. We ate dinner down by the river...at Chart House. It was a fabulous little restaurant...right on the water and beautiful! Unfortunately, we ordered something we thought was something else...so we didn't have a great experience with the food, but I think if we had gotten something else we would have loved it!

After dinner, we walked along the river, taking in the sights of beautiful Savannah.
We had so much fun watching these big cargo ships sail down the river with the tugboats right beside...
Savannah was all lit up and decorated for Christmas...it was so pretty.
