Thank you and an update...

First of all, can I just say THANK YOU! We have had such an overwhelming response to our adoption fundraiser through Amazon. We feel so blessed by your response! It may seem like such a tiny thing...just clicking on a link and shopping...but to us it is so much more than that. You are sharing in our journey to bring our Little Love home from Ethiopia. You are making this dream of ours a reality and for that we can't say thank you enough. Thank you for sharing the link on your Facebook pages and for asking others to join with us. We feel so blessed and overwhelmed with gratitude. I literally tear up every time I see someone has shared our link...EVERY TIME! So thank you.

People have been asking me several questions about the fundraiser so let me try to answer those here and bring a little more clarity to how this works. The link is good for...forever. It doesn't have an end date. We are basically being paid to advertise for Amazon by sharing this link with you, so you won't see anything related to our adoption when you shop or checkout. As long as you initially go through our link, we are getting a percentage. The more people that use our link, the higher the percentage. I hope this helps clarify things a bit. Again, THANK YOU!

We've had an extremely busy past few weeks. We've been scurrying to meetings and banks and Home Depot. We BOUGHT A HOUSE! Booya! And we close in two short weeks. Yay! I am so excited! The house is everything we've been looking for and more. God has been extremely faithful. There have been many ups and downs in this whole "looking for a house" process, but the Lord has given us the exact house we were looking for and we can't wait to build our lives there.  I'll post pictures and everything once we are actually in our new place.

We are also busy updating our adoption paperwork.  Our home study is due to be updated so we are extra thankful that God provided this house when He did so we don't have to update it twice(once in our condo and once we found a house).  We now only have to do it once...YES!  God is kind and faithful.  We feel so blessed for so many reasons.  Thank you again for sharing in our adoption(and life) journey!
