O Ravioli...

A couple weekends ago, Bobby and I had the distinct privilege of learning to make homeade ravioli from Bobby's grandparents. It was sooo fun...as you can see from this pic...

We spent all day making pasta, filling, and putting together the raviolis. The filling recipe is one that was handed down from Grandma B's mom(or grandmother...I can't remember)...so it was so cool to learn how to make it and get the recipe.

We got told stories of how if you had a few eggs and some flour you could feed your family for days with PaStA!

Making homeade ravioli is definitely a two person job...it took us about 3 hours to make it all...

My cutie is breaking the dough here...

Then you fill and fold...

Then you cut and fork those little raviolis...
And set them out to dry...

Here we are stretching the dough and making it as thin as we need it....it's amazing how long this dough gets to be....hence the teamwork.

Here they are...132 raviolis all laid out and drying...

We then devoured them...topped with Papa B's homeade spaghetti sauce...DELISH! And it made TONS of food....we had way to many leftovers...
